PREDICTION (EPISODE 10)

PASCAL: You were right and i didnt believe you. She was pregnant already, she was 2 months pregnant before luring me into her bed, now ill have to take the blame, i'm shouldered with the burden of taking care of that baby. I should have listened to you.

TONY: Its not too late to back out now. What you actually wanted was sex and nothing more, now you've gotten that sex, so you can just let her go now.

PASCAL: I said i wanted sex, thats True, but not just once. All the time i've wasted, the money i've invested, just to make her believe that i love her, just to convince her that i truly love and want to marry her.

TONY: You caused this.

PASCAL: How?

TONY: That move you made, going after her junior sister. You made it at the wrong time, the MMA you know would never impose an unwanted pregnancy on you, so what if her sister told her everything you said, what if her sister is the main culprit here?

PASCAL: Hmm. You have a point there. But it still doesnt change the fact that i'm widely known as the father of that bastard she is carrying.

TONY: Suggest a blood test to prove your innocence, that way, you would be exonorated permanently.

PASCAL: Her father insisted that his daughter cannot do such a thing and she even told him that i'm the first guy she ever had sex with, that i'm the one who took her virginity.

TONY: Wow! You're really so deep in this. Truth is, the only way out of this is to confront MMA and plead with her to pity you, plead with her to reveal who the true father of that child is.

PASCAL: I don't think Victory would let her do that, I strongly believe that Victory is the one behind all this, the only way to stop this is to plead with her to forgive you for trying to take advantage of her.

TONY: Then what are you still doing here? Why not go and plead with her for mercy when you know she is the one behind the whole thing.

VICTORY: Wait Wait Wait! Why are you feeling guilty? why are you showing this mood of regret?

MMA: We both know that Pascal is innocent, we both know he isn't the one responsible for my pregnancy. so why did you have to put it all on him?  He has done nothing but show me love, care and affection, and this is how i repay him?

VICTORY: Like I once told you MMA, you have no idea what the man you so claim to love is capable of. I just want you to trust me on this.

MMA: How would I trust you?

VICTORY: PASCAL, your so called loving husband and fiancé tried to take advantage of me using you to threaten me. Telling me he would break up with you and cancel the marriage if I refuse to sleep with him. You need to hear the rubbish he was telling me that day.

MMA: Which PASCAL? Is it the one I know or another one? My own PASCAL? Trying to sleep with you? And you expect me to believe that?

VICTORY:  Give me a minute. *Opens her bag and brought out her phone, then played the recorded conversation she had with PASCAL the last time they met*

MIKE: Who am I seeing? Is this really you?

AUSTIN: I should be asking you that question. Micheal! Where have you been? How long has it been?

MIKE: I've been in town o, I've been around, when you don't bother checking up on me, how would you know where I am.

AUSTIN: Its not like that na. I've just been busy, I've just been very very busy and sort of confused lately.

MIKE: Confused?

AUSTIN: Yes O. Confused.

MIKE: What's the matted Austin? Why are you confused? you know you can tell me anything, you know you can trust me.

AUSTIN: Yea I know. But not here. Lets go somewhere simple. Hope you're free at the...

MIKE: Whatever I wanna do can wait. You being confused is more important to me than anything else.

15minutes later...

MIKE: Guy, you're so fucked up. At least, you're the father of the child so you can claim it in court and gain custody if your lawyer is very good.

AUSTIN: And what happens to her marriage. Am I to satisfy my personal desire selfishly and destroy her happiness?

MIKE: If I heard you correctly, you said your father gave you a limited time to think about it and give him a final decision. So right now, it's either you get married to OLUCHI, your high school crush or claim that child, besides, why do you even hate that girl? She's Pretty.

AUSTIN: Yes she's pretty, and please, don't ever call her my high school crush ever again, i once loved and had feelings for her, that's true, but... That was in the past.

MIKE: What happened? Why did you develop such hatred for her overnight?  How did your love turn to hate just like that?

AUSTIN: She betrayed my trust.

MIKE: Maybe you never did love her then, because love overlooks all negativity the later may possess. Love searches for the best in people.

AUSTIN:  What she did was bad enough to corrupt that love I once had for her.

MIKE: Then tell me, what did she do?

DAMI: What did you do? I thought you guys were once lovers, so why does he hate you this much?

OLUCHI: Damilare, I swear to you, I don't know O. He told me he loves me the first day, I accepted the second day, we booked a date on the 4th day, and he started avoiding me on the 3rd day. We never went out on a date.

DAMI: Hmm, strange. There's only one explanation for this.

OLUCHI: Which is...

DAMI: *Draws closer to her* Did the two of you **** before the 3rd day?

OLUCHI: Haba! Damilare, how can you even think of suggesting such a thing? Do I look that cheap to you?

DAMI: No Na! But you've had a crush on him long before he even approached you so there's no big deal in you letting him have his way when an opportunity presents itself.

OLUCHI: The fact I have a crush on him doesn't make me worthless, we never even kissed each other, the least we did was shake hands.

DAMI: Did you ask him?

OLUCHI: How am I to ask him when he is always avoiding me? But that's not the issue we should be discussing. He's getting married to me whether he likes it or not, so I still win.

DAMI: Is that what you really want? A husband that doesn't give a damn about you, a husband that hates you, that would hardly care for you?

OLUCHI: All that matters is that, I love him. As long as I love him, then he's worth enduring all that for.

DAMI: What about MIKE? His friend, why don't you go for him instead?

OLUCHI: Stop fooling yourself, we both know you love MIKE, simply ask me for directions and I'll give you clues on how to make him notice you.

DAMI: Maybe I did, but not anymore.

OLUCHI: I hear you! If you don't love him anymore, then why did you bring him up, we both know i dont have feelings for him, so why would i marry him? You can still go after him now, I heard MMA is getting married soon, so you no longer have a rival.

DAMI: Seriously? I thought they were still dating. What happened?

OLUCHI: Reserve that question for him, so you'll ask him when next you guys meet. You can just leave a note with me, he buys stuff at my mom's shop almost every day.

DAMI: Are you for real?

OLUCHI: I'm serious. Or do I look like someone joking to you?
