AMAKA (EPISODE 18)

AMAKA: The best way to avoid DSIAPPOINTMENT is to EXPECT nothing. Trusting someone, believeing him/her to do something, accepting promises. Its better to hope than expect, cause there is a probabilty in hoping, a probability that what you hope for wont actually come to pass, while expecting, you're 80% sure it would get to you. In some cases, even when we know the outcome of something, we find it difficult to prepare for it, sometimes, instead of accepting a fact, we try to change it. You know he's gonna break up with you, instead of preparing yourself for the PAIN ahead, you try to make him stay. At times, you dont really have a choice, cause no matter how much you fortify yourself, you'll definitely feel that PAIN.

AMAKA: (Furious) What do you mean by that?...

PASCAL: Stop pretending like you dont know what i mean. After using a slap to break up with me, (Rubs the spot she slapped him), i wonder how you'll break up with this one ...

EMEKA: Bros, please, respect yourself. If you have issues with sister Amaka, you guys can resolve it in private, stop including me in your conflict ...

AMAKA: (Cuts him off with a SLAP) Pascal! Thats Enough, you've said enough ...

( Pascal rubbed the new slap spot, took a deep breath, look up into the sky, looked at Emeka and AMAKA, then tried to retaliate with a slap, but Emeka held his hand in mid-air and pushed it away.)

PASCAL: When did you become her bodygaurd?

EMEKA: Bodygaurd? I'm really care about her to be precise. I just dont tolerate it when a guy is SHAMELESS enough to try and hit a lady in my prssence. (Turns to Amaka) A beautiful lady for that matter ... (Back to Pascal) So i would advice to leave and let go of this particular lady cause the move you just made already showed the kind of guy you are ...

PASCAL: (Laughs) Seriously? And what if i refuse to let go? What i refused to go? Who are you to move me?

EMEKA: I'm currently a christian. But i'm sure God would forgive fight for self-defense. Trust me, you dont want to know what i'm capable of, so please, just be a gentleman and leave things nicely...

PASCAL: Enough talking.

(He quickly threw a blow at Emeka as he appeared unprepared. Emeka then threw one in return, gave him a leg sweep that made him land on his back. Amaka held Emeka back, "Please let me", she told him. Then she mounted on Pascal and started the Blow party, giving him blows in turns as he laid down helplessly on the dusty path. When she had her fill with blood all over Pascal's face. She left him there helplessly, truned around to see EMEKA standing in SHOCK, staring at her... But she just smiled at him, gave him a hug and said ... )

AMAKA: Thanks a lot. You have no idea how desperate i've been to do this. Now i really feel at EASE ... (Then she continued her path down the path still breathing heavily) ...

EMEKA: (Stared at Pascal who was now groaning in pain, laughed, without a reason, because what just happened appeared like a film to him. Then he ran after AMAKA who was now a few miles away from him) Wow!!! That was ... Jeez! ... I though fighting is a sin, since when have you been FIGHTING? ...

AMAKA: (Smiled) "Its a fight for Self-defence, God would forgive", isnt that what you said? So how am i to know its really a sin when you said God would forgive ...

EMEKA: (Laughs) Like seriously? ...

AMAKA: Nah, i'm just kidding. I'll ask for forgiveness after fellowship, i just had to do it because that guy really deserves it. Talking as if he would ever HUG me throughout his stay on earth ...

EMEKA: Uhm, so you mean you guys never, *coughs*, or he was ...

AMAKA: (Stops and turned her gaze at him) Did you seriously believe what he said? I'm still a VIRGIN o. The truth is, you're the 1st guy aside my brother that i've ever hugged. Mehn, you guys are so so ... Jeez! ...

EMEKA: HEy, c'mon, you cant blame me. He sounded so serious and real... (To himself) A Virgin? Wow, A Virgin, she's a Virgin. A Virgin, AMaka is a Virgin. Emma would really LOVE to hear this...


(After the fellowship ...)

AMAKA: Whats up with you? Ever since i told i'm a Virgin, you've been acting Weird. Havent you seen a VIRGIN before? ...

EMEKA: Not that. I'm just... (Sees IKENNA coming towards their direction) Amaka, who is that? ...

AMAKA: Dont worry. I'll introduce you when he comes here. (Ikenna was with SANDRA, Emma's junior sister. She recognized EMEKA as her brother's friend)

SANDRA: Sir Emeka, what brings you to our church today. You of all people, in church ..

EMEKA: What a Joyful day. For there is Great Joy in heaven when one soul forgives another soul...

AMAKA: Ehn? No O. It is when a soul is won for Christ, not when a soul forgives another soul ...

SANDRA: What did you give him to EAT? The Emeka i know cant even spell "JESUS", and you're calling him a JUNIOR PASTOR ...

EMEKA: (Looking at AMAKA) I guess when you fall in LOVE with someone, you're compelled to do things you dont do and you're forced to change into someone else for the sake of that person ...
