PURPOSE (IMITATION)

There's always someone everyone wish they can be. No matter how great or perfect our personality may be, we all have someone we wish we could be like. We all wish we can be someone for one reason or the other, maybe because of a particular character or trait that the person possess. Maybe because of the body, skills, wealth or natural instinct that person was gifted with.

There are a lot of people I would love to be, the celebrities, the successful individuals out there, the graduates with their dream jobs, etc. The world is full of people, each with his or her own lifestyle, contributing to the world in one way or the other, destined to lead one or more people to greatness.

Many people believe that this is my life, I can do whatsoever I please with it, might as well end it right away, of what importance is It to anyone. I still recall a certain time I was jogging round my school field in KWARA STATE one weekend.

A man called me, a man I think he is a pastor, cause I've seen him on several occasions whenever I come to school preaching to little kids and teaching them how to pray.

The man called me and asked me if I'm a born again, I lied saying Yes, he asked when and how It felt, I added more convincing lies to make him believe me. After my stories. He then said he would like us to pray, after praying. He told me something...

He said...

While I was running, the lord told him something about me. I don't really recall the exact words, but... He said, the lord has assigned a certain number of souls to me, that the lord has placed a certain number of souls in my care and that its my responsibility to lead them to christ. Saying if I don't fulfill my purpose, that if I don't execute that task the lord has laid for me, those souls in my care would be lost forever and I would be held responsible. I don't fully recall the exact words, but that's exactly what he meant.

Thinking about that...

I believe that our lives isn't fully ours for the taken, if you believe we have a creator, then we should also believe that he created us for a reason. For nothing is without purpose. Everyone has a reason for whatever he or she does, so he definitely has a special reason for creating each and everyone of us. Right from the start, we may not know the purpose of our creation, but with time, it would reveal itself, you wont need to be told or informed, you'll feel it within.

We all wish to be someone, thinking everything about them is perfect, but we re wrong, for none on earth is without worries, no matter how wealthy we are, we all have our different worries and problems, so none is perfect. That we see them smiling and laughing, doesn't mean they live a care free life, we all have something bothering us inside, we all exhibit a cheerful mood to reflect a sociable personality. We should learn to right our wrongs, create solutions for our problems and try to stop running away from them. You like someone, that's fine, try imitating that aspect and thing about that person that you admire, and stop wishing you can be in his shoes overnight cause you have not the slightest idea what he or she is going through within.
